Pair of Bud Vases with Spherical Bases in Green Tones
$200.00
A composed set of two slender bud vases with spherical bases, united by their shared proportions and a harmonious dialogue in green.
One of them, crafted in Murano, Italy, features an emerald-green conical body and a clear crystal base executed in the bullicante technique, controlled air bubbles, a hallmark of mid-20th-century Venetian glassmaking, that adds brilliance and texture.
The other, of contemporary Italian origin, combines a clear glass tube with a solid dark-green sphere, creating a contrast between transparency and visual weight.
Though from different periods, the pair functions as a sculptural duo: transparency and mass, air and matter, color and void.
They can hold delicate stems or stand as independent decorative objects, appreciated for their verticality and refined geometric presence.
