Set of four cylindrical amphorae, hand-thrown on the wheel, with applied side handles and a partial glaze in soft cream and buttermilk tones. Originating from Puglia, southern Italy, dating from the late 19th century, they were traditionally used to store wine, water or oil in rural households. The glaze was applied only to the upper half for easier cleaning, while the base remained unglazed to allow the clay to breathe.

Their simple, robust shape reflects everyday use and the beauty of utility. Today, they serve beautifully as vases, utensil holders or sculptural decorative pieces.
