A beautiful antique French pitcher by Keller and Guérin, Lunéville, decorated in the romantic Les Roses pattern with raised pink blossoms, green foliage, and a soft celadon-green ground. The molded body, scalloped rim, and graceful handle give the piece a delicate Art Nouveau feeling, while the floral decoration reflects the refined faience tradition of eastern France.

Keller and Guérin was one of the important names associated with the historic Lunéville pottery in Lorraine, a French ceramic center with roots in the 18th century. The K&G mark became closely tied to Lunéville’s celebrated production of decorative faience and tableware in the 19th and early 20th centuries. This pitcher carries that history beautifully: useful, sculptural, and decorative at once.

A lovely piece for a collection of French faience, antique pitchers, floral ceramics, or romantic tableware. It displays beautifully with flowers, on an open shelf, or as part of a layered dining room or kitchen collection.

Good antique condition with wear consistent with age and use. Minor glaze variations, crazing, and light surface wear may be present, consistent with antique French ceramics. Please refer to the photographs for details.
