French Art Nouveau Majolica Floral Pitcher by Frie Onnaing, Circa 1900

An exceptional antique French majolica pitcher by Frie Onnaing, one of the celebrated makers of Art Nouveau majolica in northern France. Produced circa 1900, this sculptural vessel features a richly modeled botanical design with raised flowers, flowing leaves, and sinuous organic lines that wrap around the body of the pitcher. The form is elegant and highly decorative, with a warm ochre handle, deep olive and golden ground, and hand-painted blossoms in shades of pink, burgundy, cream, and soft green.

The design reflects the Art Nouveau fascination with nature, movement, and asymmetry, transforming a functional pitcher into a decorative object full of texture and visual rhythm.
