Murano Sommerso Glass Vases, Green & Orange, Italy, 1970

Pair of Murano art glass vases made using the celebrated Sommerso technique, featuring a striking combination of deep green, orange and transparent glass. The layered colors are submerged one inside another while hot, creating luminous depth without any surface decoration.

One vase has a compact rounded form, the other a taller and slimmer profile, so the pair reads as a small composition when displayed together.

Sold as a set of two.
