Pair of Jugs with Florals

Set of two jugs with rounded bodies, twin handles and beak-shaped spouts, hand-painted with floral motifs in blue, terracotta and yellow. One features the classic righe e stelle pattern of rosettes; the other displays looser flower forms with an oxidized red rim. These designs, rooted in Renaissance floral patterns and folk reinterpretations, symbolize fertility and abundance in Puglia’s rural culture, dating from the mid-20th century.
