Charming vintage set of two pieces from the historic Henriot Quimper factory in Brittany, France: a roaster bowl and a pitcher decorated with the characteristic figure of a Breton woman dressed in traditional regional clothing.

These pieces reflect the Breton faience tradition of Quimper, renowned for its hand-painted decoration, vivid colors, and motifs inspired by the life, customs, and landscape of Brittany. The female figure, shown in traditional dress, is one of the most emblematic themes in Quimper ceramics and gives each piece a strong regional and folk-art character.

The set combines the functional form of the bowl with the sculptural, decorative silhouette of the pitcher. The rims, handles, spout, and lid feature handcrafted details that enhance their charm. The natural variations of hand painting and faience finishing give each piece its own individual personality.

They may be used as serving pieces, decorative vessels, or distinctive additions to a collection of French ceramics and Breton folk art. They are equally attractive displayed together or separately in a kitchen, dining room, library, or cabinet.

Both pieces retain minor signs of age and use consistent with their vintage condition, including small details around areas of the rim, base, lid, and handle. Please review the photographs carefully, as they show the condition and individual details of each piece.
