Vintage Wooden Rolling Pins Set with Black Metal Wall Rack, Circa 1970s
A characterful assembled set of two vintage wooden rolling pins presented in a black-painted metal wall rack. Each rolling pin has a cylindrical wooden barrel and turned handles, yet the pair is intentionally varied rather than factory-matched: one is lighter in tone with a softly speckled grain, while the other has a warmer, deeper color and more pronounced figuring.
The metal holder is formed from slender black wire with circular side supports and a ring at the top, constructed in two detachable sections. The sections can be separated and reassembled, allowing the rack to be configured to display either one rolling pin or both together in a compact wall-mounted arrangement.
Rolling pins belong to one of the oldest and most intimate languages of domestic life, extensions of the hand associated with repetition, patience, and inherited recipes. Displayed in a kitchen, pantry, or dining area, the set introduces warmth, texture, and a quiet sense of continuity.
Condition: Good, wear consistent with age and use. Dimensions: 11.5 in H x 17 in W x 3 in D.
