Medium-sized terracotta bowl with a wide mouth and deep profile, its interior glazed in white and decorated with green splashes applied in the schizzato (splatter glaze) technique. A fine line along the rim enhances the motif, while the exterior remains largely unglazed, exposing the natural terracotta. Originating from Puglia, southern Italy, it dates from the mid-19th century. The unglazed base leaves the clay visible, a technical choice that facilitated firing and everyday use.

Originally, it was used for preparing tomato passata, as well as for washing fruits and vegetables or serving food. Today, it can be appreciated as a decorative accent or centerpiece in contemporary interiors.
