1950s Shenango China Creamers and Butter Pats with Red Bands

Two Shenango China creamers and two individual butter pats, grouped for their shared light tones and deep red decoration. The creamers keep compact, handleless bodies with gently curved sides and small pouring spouts, a fine red line following each upper rim; the butter pats combine a wider band with a thin inner line framing the center.

The pieces were selected for visual affinity rather than uniformity — two forms, one palette, with subtle differences in weight and proportion doing the work of holding the grouping together. The butter pats carry the thick, rounded edges typical of restaurant service ware, built for handling that a delicate dish couldn't survive.
