Set composed of two glass pieces from Murano, Italy, made in the 1970s.

The Murano pieces, made using the sommerso technique, display an intense gradation of greens and ambers encapsulated in transparent crystal. Their organic and fluid forms, with superimposed layers of color, reveal the technical mastery of Venetian workshops and the experimental aesthetic of Italian glassmaking in the 1970s. While unsigned, they are attributed to the renowned designer Flavio Poli, a key figure in the evolution of artistic glass in Murano during the 20th century.
